Blm tribute

I’m painting what I love about Black Culture in hopes of channeling positivity and learning more about black culture.

(So far, I’ve learned that I only know about black rich and famous culture. My dream is to paint reality and make embarrassing things like growing up in a trailer not shaming but something to be proud of because it takes a special person to survive a social dichotomy.)

Beethoven wrote Ode to Joy to show people how good a world of equality would be like. He didn’t like Kings and Queens telling him he wasn’t good enough to love who he loved. He was good in his soul, mind, and accomplishments.

Here are my heroes that are the best of the best and have given their lives to people through art.

Ms. Ross’ music off the Forrest Gump Soundtrack touched my life. I liked the song, Stoned Love and transcribed the lyrics from my cassette tape. It was the first time my Dad said he liked my voice.

Sade’s music gave me an escape from heartbreak and gave me a new world that was elegant like white wine. I could imagine a content feeling that I knew nothing about.
