Three Works in Progress

Yesterday, I started these three paintings while working at Arts of Snohomish Gallery: 

Layer 1 for my Great Aunt Bummy. This is her dad.

Layer 1 for my husband’s cousin. This is her dog, Penny. 

Layer 1 for my friend Sara. She lost her wonderful cat, Finnegan recently. 

They are secret paintings. I don’t think they follow me, so I think it won’t spoil the surprise if I post them here.

It turns out that I won’t be studying art in Hungary after all. Paying for it was a bit sketchy, so I decided to pull out. Is that expression sexual? Ew. 

My new plan to improve is to copy The Greats. So, I’m going to try to paint the Mona Lisa. That’s my favorite. Maybe I can make her even better.

Thanks to the very cool people I got to meet today. I got the great honor of selling three paintings today.
