Lighthouse

Here is my progress on a lighthouse prism! I took this photo near Grayland. This prism was made in Europe and sailed by a sailing ship around Cape Horn in the 1800’s. This lighthouse was badly needed to keep ships from getting beached and was sponsored by the Wa timber industry.

I started it last night and worked on it all day today.

The lighthouse used to be on the beach, but the beach changes. Now it’s in the forest.

Here is Jackie’s oil painting finished and framed now! I give it to her tomorrow:

Daisy Day 2

Her favorite color is pink and her kitchen is Tuscany Vineyard, so I’m trying to bring that into this painting. I’m supposed to paint only six hrs a day, but I usually do 10:00am-10:00pm if I’m not busy. Notice that I added daisies! I changed the angle of her head snd hopefully she thinks it looks like her still. I brought out her and toned down the water to tell the story.

Today Pamee Hohner gave me her easel! Thank you!!
