Here is my progress so far:
This will be going in a briefing room for a Canine Unit in Oregon! It’s an honor to get to do this. There will be a plaque in the frame that has a quote about retirement.
Other “news”: I had Tiffany’s Piano and Battle of the Bastards professionally scanned at NW Fine Arts Printing and then framed at Ben Franklin. Today, I designed and ordered a retractable banner, bookmarks and stickers. Next Month, Arts of Snohomish will be freaturing my music students.
Happy Valentines Day! Here is an oil painting from real life looking at a rose for three days and continuing to paint it wilted. Maybe this represents loving something real.
I am learning that drawing from real life is awesome because you can express color way better. It’s possible to actually get the exact color combos and then you’ll see a photo and realize eyeballs are better.
