This painting I tried to capture complicated facial expressions involved in betrayal and avoidance. I loved painting this. It took me about three years. I started painting it at ECCC 2024 and it was my first and only time so far going live on instagram for a live painting. I was amazed and humbled that people stayed with me for an hour.
