I was asked to paint a chicken! Bacock!
I thought I should draw two so I could sell one at Arts of Snohomish. When it’s fresh in my mind, I should paint it twice. Then, I can take the strengths of each piece and match them.
I was able to start and finish both in one day.
Here is my first:
Things I hope to change still: skin color on left inside hand, skin color on right cheek, and blue feathers on right hen.
(I fixed those things and they are the top two pictures of this post.)
My current wall at Arts of Snohomish featuring my new painting that’s called “Goldy Cock” after my Mom’s beloved rooster.
Then, I switched it around because the nest picture was leaning.
